The bets have been made.

The crowd is divided and starting to scream.

Puppets, puppeteers, get ready to rumble…

The Puppet Sports ‘Improv Match’ is about to begin!

Imagine a pit full of international puppeteers battling it out to the sounds of an improvising pianist. Strings, hands, socks, rods and exotic accents flying everywhere!

Theatrical improvisation has taken many forms in the past but none have been as bizarre as this!

Taking its rules from Canada’s national obsession, ice hockey, the Puppet Sports concept was devised during the Québec Cultural Revolution in the late 1960’s by actors Robert Gravel and Yvon Leduc.

This is an antic match between countries and companies not to be missed. Who will be the winner? The audience must vote!

Beware. There are no replays.
