A special double bill featuring two enchanting family classics!
Legendary Japanese puppet company PUK performs the Nutcracker alongside Japan’s own children’s favourite, Buying Mittens.
Mittens is the story of Little Fox’s expedition to a human store to buy a new pair of mittens for his snow-frozen paws. This heart-warming story has charmed Japanese children for generations.
Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet masterpiece, The Nutcracker Suite, is brought to life with masterful puppetry to tell the timeless of tale of a young girl, Clara, who receives a nutcracker for her Christmas gift.
Join Little Fox and Clara in these wonderful adaptations of a pair of well loved stories from two very different traditions.
A delightful performance of two tales that, like all good classics, speak across age and cultures.
