Are we there yet?

Two cousins, Rick and Gina, are on the run. Fuelled by the memories of their beloved Nan, they flee their home town with impossible secrets bursting from the boot of her old red EH Holden car.

Guided by a crow who is more than it seems, they find themselves on a crazy road to Somewhere with the police on their tail.

Headhunter is a new Indigenous tale set firmly in the present but one that honours the importance of the past. Inspired by Archie Weller’s short story, Confessions of a Headhunter, it was created in collaboration with Ilbijerri Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Theatre Cooperative.

Funny and fast with loads of grunts under the bonnet, Headhunter will take you on a road trip around an Australia you didn't know existed.

Come along for the ride!

“Simplicity is the secret to this show’s success.”
